2014 International Summer School on Smart & Mobile Device Security and Privacy

The summer school aims at bringing together members from the international security research community to debate contemporary issues in the area of smartphone security and privacy. It consists of lectures given by world-leading researchers in this area, practical hands-on sessions and a PhD forum.

System Security (SysSec) Lab group leader Prof. Dr. Ahmad-Reza Sadeghi is part of the Scientific Committee and is also giving three lectures at the summer school. SysSec researcher Lucas Davi is also participating as a lecturer.

The 2014 International Summer School on Smart & Mobile Device Security and Privacy will take place at the University of Padua, Italy from August 31st to September 5th, 2014. 

The University of Padua is a long tradition University (among the earliest Universities of the world, founded in 1222; hosted people like Galileo Galilei and Nicolaus Copernicus). A recent national assessment set the University of Padua as the highest ranking among leading Italian Universities for the quality of its research results.
